Telephone Angels is a subscription service that helps monitor your loved ones. We provide a helping hand ensuring daily contact with an elderly, mobile and independently living friend or family member. Our service is designed to help strengthen your family support network without invading your peace or privacy.
Each day, your elderly, independent family member will call in by a designated time of the day. Their call will count as their check in for that day. We will send a reminder call if they forget and we will ask them to press a number on their keypad to confirm the check in. If they miss the reminder call, they have an hour to call in before we send a follow-up call or email to the family contact notifying them that their loved one did not check in with us.
As we age, our values are heavily placed on health, independence and enjoying the familiar comforts of home. Changes in our lives are inevitable and can interfere with our comforts. It is important to plan and develop safeguards and check points as a family to measure readiness for change. Most of our lives are spent working hard to build a happy home and family. Times may come where younger generations are not able to provide enough interaction as needed in a changing family. What do we do as our parents age and we become the caregivers? Telephone Angels is a project grown from the care and concern of a loved one. Telephone Angels is an extra layer of support to reinforce a family communication network while still promoting independence and freedom.
