When the service is activated for the first time, the person that is to check in will get a call letting them know that service is active.
In general service is activated 5 minutes after the account has been set up. Once set up, if there a missed check-in, we call the person as a regular part of the service.
Please note that if the account is set up before the check-in grace time expires for the day, they will be expected to check in that day.
Our message repeats twice after the phone is answered. If the answering machine has a long message of over 30 seconds,
it is likely that your machine has not started recording by the time our message finishes. Our service cannot wait for your message
to finish first.
